Mobilities in Adult Education

Erasmus+ accreditation in the adult education sector enables the expansion of international mobilities during the programme period 2021–2027.

We are always interested in hosting and sending adult learners and staff to strengthen learning, cooperation, and shared development.

Objectives

The key themes of the Erasmus plan include:

  • Reducing barriers to participation in education
  • Strengthening basic skills
  • Recognising non-formal learning
  • Reducing barriers to international engagement
  • Strengthening staff international competences
  • Building an international partnership network
Activities and target group

Valo-Valmennusyhdistys ry and its consortium member organisations work particularly with young people and adults who are most vulnerable in society. The target group includes, for example, NEET youth, people with a migrant background, individuals facing mental health and substance-related challenges, and people with a criminal record. The activities are based on low-threshold guidance, rehabilitation, education, and support for employability.

International cooperation and mobility

The consortium includes Valo-Valmennusyhdistys ry’s partner organisations. Through international mobility, staff and participants can familiarise themselves with new operating models, develop their skills, and share experience. Internationalisation is intended to be relevant to all clients as well as staff, with a particular focus on reducing barriers to participation.

Quality and impact

All activities are guided by Erasmus quality requirements. Core principles include equality, diversity, environmental responsibility, the use of digital tools, and sharing results. Outcomes are assessed regularly based on feedback from both participants and staff, and good practices are shared within the organisation as well as more broadly.
