Valo-Valmennusyhdistys’s Erasmus+ accreditation in the youth sector enables inclusive, participatory, and international youth work, with a strong focus on development, participation, and equal opportunities. Our goal is to develop youth work methods, strengthen young people’s agency and involvement, and build and maintain a broad European partnership network.
Target groups
- Young people aged 16-29 who are at the margins of society (e.g., people experiencing homelessness, with a criminal background, with substance dependency, NEET young people, people with disabilities, and gender minorities)
- Youth workers.
Quality and principles
- The activities are aligned with the objectives of the EU Youth Strategy: participation, community, equality, and sustainable development.
- Equality, diversity, environmental responsibility, and digitalisation are considered in all activities.
- Participant selection is open and non-discriminatory, and participants are supported throughout the entire process.
- Recognition and validation of learning (Youthpass, Europass, and the Valo coaching model).
