FATE is an international project funded by the European Union Erasmus+, where Valo-Valmennusyhdistys in Southwest Finland acts as the main project coordinator and the partners are HUMAK University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Innovative Generation in Lithuania and Sfera in Northern Macedonia. The project has started in September 2024 and will continue until October 2026.
The project aims to strengthen the work and study skills of young people aged 16-29 through adventure education and individual guidance. The target group is young people who are not currently working, studying or in any organised continuous education, training or activity.
The second target group of the project are the instructors working with young people. During the project, project workers will receive training and individual guidance both in guiding adventurous activities and in guiding young people individually.
During the project, activities will be organised for:
- Camping in nature sites
- Adventuring in urban environments
- Moving around the archipelago by exploring different means
- Participating in adventure activities for young people in Lithuania and Finland together with partners

The project is funded by Erasmus+. The total budget of the project is 250 000 €, of which the Valo Association for the Construction of Adventures will contribute 90 719 €.
