From Euroscepticism to Euro-Curiosity

From Euroscepticism to Euro-Curiosity involves four organisations: the Valo-Valmennusyhdistys (Finland), Vammaisten lasten ja nuorten tukisäätiö (Finland), Ogólnopolska Federacja na rzecz Rozwiązywania Problemu Bezdomności (Poland) and VšĮ Žmogiškųjų išteklių stebėsenos ir plėtros biuras (Lithuania). At European level, 411 projects applied for funding from Europe for Citizens, of which 29 were selected for implementation. The project From Euroscepticism to Euro-Curiosity of the Valo Construction Association is one of those selected.

The project used participatory story evaluation to summer 20 stories from each organisation about what the EU means in their lives. These 80 stories in total formed the research data that provided insights into how clients perceive the EU. At the same time, data was gathered on whether the stories included any non-factual assumptions about the EU. The aim was to stimulate positive curiosity about the EU and the different opportunities it offers. The project resulted in a research report that gives a voice to our customers, telling their views on the EU.
